 E.F ELECTRICAL COMPANY LIMITED formally known as E. F. Electrical Works was founded by Emmanuel Foli in 1985. With a humble beginning, the founder (Chief Executive Officer) of E.F ELECTRICAL COMPANY LIMITED completed the St Paul Technical School (SPATS), Kukurantumi- Eastern Region, Ghana and later continued to specialise in Electrical Engineering in Takoradi Polytechnic. Upon the completion of his tertiary education he was first employed in Simms Electrical Company, Tamale branch in 1977. Whiles working at Simms Electrical Company, he also carried out electrical contractors for CONSAR LTD and the Catholic Archdiocese in Tamale. He first registered as an Electrical Contractor with the help of the late Cardinal Dery in 1982. During this period, he also was the main electrical contractor for A & N Ghanem Ltd.

 In 1985 E.F Electricals Works was established and registered and started to work with Electricity Company Ghana (ECG) which was changed to VRA/NEDCo (NORTHERN ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY) and also have contracts with Ministering of Energy and other Private institution and individuals.

The company over the past thirty-four (34) years has grown with more experience and resources employing and training more people all over the country of the years. With the rate of growth, it was converted to a company limited by shares and the name became E.F ELECTRICAL COMPANY LIMITED.

 In 2018, E. F. Electrical Works was finally registered as a limited liability company, and was renamed and branded as E.F ELECTRICAL COMPANY LIMITED.
